As Framp Remembers It!

The hike out was exhausting. 7 miles long and 1 vertical mile in over 100ᵒ F – I know, I know....It’s a dry heat! Let’s just say I carried my water and most of my stuff but poor Dave carried my rain gear and the bottle of sun screen.

We started out around 7:30 and crawled out of the canyon just about 4:30. EeeeK

We spent the night at the Red Feather Lodge. Shower, pizza and bed!

My what a Grand Beach....

Those were the words spoken by the railroad executive who decided to run a train from Winnipeg to the Beach.

We had a great time with the kids at Grand Beach. We dropped Dolly off at my friends, Jane and Gord, and then I led the parade of me, The Enterprise with a full crew (Captain Dave, 2nd mate Lilah Grace, Tristan, Thomas and William).

We spent Saturday, July 24 on the Beach after we hiked the Ancient Beach Trial...I learned so much from thr Jemmapedia. Camp fire every night. Sarah stayed with us until Sunday. We spent on the beach.....We spent Monday on the beach. Tuesday we went to the water park. Thomas got burned. Dennis and Sarah came out for Wednesday and Thursday.

All was well.
